Compared with artificial sponges, natural sponges do not have static electricity that hurts the human
body, do not peel off and last long. The sponge that lives in the sea is the real sponge, and the
artificial "sponge" just imitates the structure of the natural sponge. Natural sponges that live in
seawater are mostly grayish yellow, brown or black lumps. Its body surface has many bulges, there are
many small holes beside the bulge, and there is a large hole at the top of
the bulge. Seawater flows in from small holes and out from large holes, and those tiny creatures enter
the sponge with the water and become "self-contained" food. Therefore, although the sponge is called
"the flowers and fruits of the sea", it looks like a plant, but it is actually an animal.
